♥ You'll never know the real me.
yesterday went for guides heritage trail.. started at around 2pm outside ang mo kio mrt station... i had to lead the sec 1s in oriole cos all the other sec 2s and 3s did not come.. haiz.. so i got a big responsibility..the first checkpoint is city hall mrt station... the clue that we got for the 2nd checkpoint were two pictures taken from a shop, so we did not manage to figure it out.. asked the person at the control station and found out that it's at raffles hotel..dun remember all the checkpoints, so i'll just tell you some interesting parts..one of the checkpoint was in the NUS... i think every group took a long time to find it.. the clue given is a picture of escalators, stairs and a foreground.. on actual fact, the foreground isn't there anymore..to proceed on our trail, we had to do a performance for strangers on the streets.. my group sang the school song and it was really arkward, cos our 'audience' could not understand english..overall, the trail was super tiring, cos we walked for 5 hours non-stop.. adding to that, we met into people who gave us wrong directions, and caused us to walk more and longer distances..i'm not sure if any groups even managed to complete the trail.. everyone was told to meet at suntec city around 6.30pm..my group actually walked from anderson bridge to suntec, which was a long way... most of the sec 1s that i led couldn't tahan, but i did not dare to stop and rest... reached the meeting place at around 7pm...after the thing ended, i had to walk all the way to city hall mrt station, and only reached home at 8.05pm..i woke up only at 12pm today... think it was because of the long walk.. skipped breakfast, and i'm going to have my lunch now.. bye!
